Burge's courses are enjoyed by students and teachers alike at many of the world's best music schools.

Beware of Imitators

Burge's Perfect Pitch® Ear Training SuperCourse is the "one and only original" — the #1 best-selling ear training method for 30 years.

With Burge's long-standing mega success, imitators occasionally emerge who offer inexpensive, ineffective methods which also claim to develop Perfect Pitch — even when these methods did not actually produce Perfect Pitch for the instructors themselves.

We have seen them come — and we have seen them go — over many years.

Imitators have tried to copy almost every aspect of David Lucas Burge's courses: his true story of how he discovered Perfect Pitch, his own uniquely coined terms and way of explaining things, and even the text from our web site here!

Check out some examples exposed at RichardBosworth.org.

However, one thing that no one can copy is Burge's proven Perfect Pitch and Relative Pitch ear training drills which guarantee your development of Perfect Pitch and Relative Pitch.

Burge's method is the only method authorized to use the U.S. Registered Trademark: Perfect Pitch®.

If you really want to name NOTES and CHORDS, all BY EAR, then we invite you to experience the real thing: the original Perfect Pitch® Ear Training SuperCourse — the #1 world best-selling ear training method for 30 years.

Q. Which course should I start with, Perfect Pitch or Relative Pitch?

Great question.

Read about Perfect Pitch vs. Relative Pitch, and then you can decide for yourself. Enjoy!

Q. Can I learn Perfect Pitch and Relative Pitcheven at my age?

Absolutely.

Whatever your age, as long as your hearing is reasonably decent, you can always train your ears!

We have countless thousands of senior musicians (including inexperienced beginners) who can hear the secret to Perfect Pitch just as well as a young person. Many of our seniors even wear a hearing aid.

Perfect Pitch is not dependent upon whether you need amplification or not. The experience of "pitch color" (see What is Perfect Pitch?) is an altogether different dimension of listening.

As for Relative Pitch, if you can enjoy music, then you've got what it takes to train your ears to higher levels of skill.

It's this simple: If you can enjoy music, then you can enjoy Perfect Pitch and Relative Pitch.

Philippines to Jail Out-of-Tune Singers

Tone deaf singers beware:
The Philippine House of Representatives has passed a bill that would send to jail people who sing the country's national anthem out of tune. See story
